    Kas

My partner and I have been to Turkey (Istanbul, Marmaris, Antalya) a few times in the past years, however the 1 place we both absolutely loved was Kas. This beautiful seaside town is located on the Mediterranean coast and although Istanbul, Marmaris and Antalya are beautiful too, Kas just took our breath away. Being able to wake up and have breakfast as the sun was rising just felt so nice and not something we’d usually do since we live in Scotland. We drove from Antalya airport which took a while however the drive was worth it as we got to enjoy the scenery on our way down, we also stopped…

    Glasgow City

My partner and I went to Glasgow this year for my birthday in March and the weather wasn’t the best however we still had a really fun time. Glasgow is the biggest city in Scotland filled with a variety of amazing shops, restaurants and bars. We took the bus from Edinburgh which took around 1 hour however you can also take the train which is faster but this would depend on where you lived. We stayed in Glasgow for 1 night at the Millennium hotel which was perfectly located in the city centre. This hotel was absolutely beautiful our room was amazing, very spacious also very comfortable. The staff at…

    Whitby

Is a seaside town located in Yorkshire, northern England. I visited this town in May this year with my partner and his family for 4 days. We stayed in an Airbnb which was beautiful and very cosy also not far from the town. You can get the train here or you can drive to Whitby. On our first night there we went on a lovely walk to the beach and I was amazed at how incredible the view was specially as the sun was setting. The next day we had to climb a set of stairs to get to the top of the Gothic Abbey which was Bram Stoker’s inspiration for…

    Loch Lomond

Another Camping post well obv course I absolutely love the outdoors. Being in nature is so relaxing even when the weather isn’t the best however we were lucky to have such beautiful weather when camping in Loch Lomond at Cashel campsite last year. https://www.campingintheforest.co.uk/scotland/loch-lomond/cashel-campsite Such a lovely clean camp site with showers and toilets. Amazing views and a very relaxing quiet atmosphere. Pop up tents I think are the way forward when it comes to camping they are just so easy to quickly set up and once it’s done you have more time to explore the location you are visiting. There is various things that you can do in Loch…

    Loch Ness shores

My partner and I went on a camping trip to Loch Ness home of the legendary Loch Ness Monster! We went in May and the weather was good with a small amount of wind which helped with horribly annoying midges! We drove from Dunfermline a small town in Scotland to Loch Ness. We left quiet late in the day so it took us around 3 hours however we stopped at a really lovely cafe on the way called snack shack cafe and take away. We then made our way to our camping site – Loch Ness Shores Camping and Caravanning Club Site, link below: https://www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk/campsites/uk/inverness/foyers/lochnessshores You can get prices on…

My first time visiting Italy in 2016 and I  decided to go to Milan I mean why not it’s the global capital of fashion and design and who doesn’t like a bit of shopping! But it’s not just about the shopping guys seriously Milan is beautiful. There is so much to see a do in this city you can visit the cathedral, visit the last supper painting one of the most famous paintings in the world, or relax at a bar or restaurant. I stayed in Qualy’s Hotel Nasco and again this hotel wasn’t for from the centre would roughly take you 15-20 minutes however right outside the hotel you…

    Porto

My partner and I went to Porto last year in June. Porto is a coastal city in northwest Portugal known for its stately bridges and port wine production which we had the pleasure of tasting while in Porto. Flights to Porto are fairly cheap depending on when you go and who you fly with. Once we arrived we got a taxi to our hotel which roughly took 15-20 minutes and didn’t cost that much. We stayed in Hotel Internacional link provided below: https://www.booking.com/hotel/pt/internacional-porto.en.html?aid=1627098&checkin_monthday=16&checkin_month=10&checkin_year=2018&checkout_monthday=19&checkout_month=10&checkout_year=2018&no_rooms=1&group_adults=2&room1=A%2CA This hotel was absolutely perfect! it was in the centre and had everything you needed such as restaurants, bars, take aways, shops and if you are looking to…

    Dubrovnik

Welcome to my post on Dubrovnik, 2 words to describe this place – absolutely stunning! the scenery, weather, tours, food and people is what makes this location a must visit. I only went for a week but I highly recommend much longer, there’s just so many more places to visit outside Dubrovnik such as Split, Zagreb, Mostar and Montenegro. My partner and I went on a 3 island tour starting in Dubrovnik then headed towards the first island which was Lopud, Sipan (2nd) and Kolocep (3rd). I do get sea sick however this boat ride was smooth, we were provided with beverages and also lunch which was fresh fish! absolutely…
