    Loch Lomond

Another Camping post well obv course I absolutely love the outdoors. Being in nature is so relaxing even when the weather isn’t the best however we were lucky to have such beautiful weather when camping in Loch Lomond at Cashel campsite last year. https://www.campingintheforest.co.uk/scotland/loch-lomond/cashel-campsite Such a lovely clean camp site with showers and toilets. Amazing views and a very relaxing quiet atmosphere. Pop up tents I think are the way forward when it comes to camping they are just so easy to quickly set up and once it’s done you have more time to explore the location you are visiting. There is various things that you can do in Loch…

    Loch Ness shores

My partner and I went on a camping trip to Loch Ness home of the legendary Loch Ness Monster! We went in May and the weather was good with a small amount of wind which helped with horribly annoying midges! We drove from Dunfermline a small town in Scotland to Loch Ness. We left quiet late in the day so it took us around 3 hours however we stopped at a really lovely cafe on the way called snack shack cafe and take away. We then made our way to our camping site – Loch Ness Shores Camping and Caravanning Club Site, link below: https://www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk/campsites/uk/inverness/foyers/lochnessshores You can get prices on…

    Porto

My partner and I went to Porto last year in June. Porto is a coastal city in northwest Portugal known for its stately bridges and port wine production which we had the pleasure of tasting while in Porto. Flights to Porto are fairly cheap depending on when you go and who you fly with. Once we arrived we got a taxi to our hotel which roughly took 15-20 minutes and didn’t cost that much. We stayed in Hotel Internacional link provided below: https://www.booking.com/hotel/pt/internacional-porto.en.html?aid=1627098&checkin_monthday=16&checkin_month=10&checkin_year=2018&checkout_monthday=19&checkout_month=10&checkout_year=2018&no_rooms=1&group_adults=2&room1=A%2CA This hotel was absolutely perfect! it was in the centre and had everything you needed such as restaurants, bars, take aways, shops and if you are looking to…

I only went for a week but I highly recommend much longer, there’s just so many more places to visit outside Dubrovnik such as Split, Zagreb, Mostar and Montenegro. My partner and I went on a 3 island tour starting in Dubrovnik then headed towards the first island which was Lopud, Sipan (2nd) and Kolocep (3rd). I do get sea sick however this boat ride was smooth, we were provided with beverages and also lunch which was fresh fish! absolutely…

I feel so privileged to be living right next to another beautiful and highly recommended tourist attraction to visit in Edinburgh – Royal Botanic Gardens. It’s a scientific center that studies plants, their diversity and conservation. The Botanic Gardens is beautiful in the summer and definitely an attraction that would suit all ages, they also host big events such as the lost words,  Light show which is usually around Christmas time and it’s just fantastic and many more please check out their site on list of events below: http://www.rbge.org.uk/whats-on/home
