VOTE FOR DAFTEST RAFT WINNER

Thanks to everyone who rafted, swam (accidentally or not), paddled, sang, made burgers, cycled, bounced, drummed, piped, petted, manned a stall or cheered from the side lines. Photos are now uploaded.

We had another great turnout including a surprise early appearance from the sun.
Naturally, being raft race day, the rain was also obliged to show up and it didn't disappoint.

Thanks also to Tim McKay - Edinburgh City Council's Canal Champion - who officially opened this year's event. Tim sailed into Edinburgh Quay on the Zazoo Cafe boat with music from renowned piper Hamish Moore, tailed by the now traditional 'wee boat flotilla'.
