Thanks to everyone who rafted, swam, paddled, sang, piped, manned a stall or cheered from the side lines - this year's festival was a great sucess with a fantastic, well-rewarded, turnout.

Thanks also to towpath regular Ian Rankin who officially opened this year's event. Ian was carried to the stage in style, on a Seagull Trust boat with bagpipe accompaniment (oddly, i picked out more starwars and proclaimers than traditional pipe tunes!).

Fastest Paddlers - We haven’t thought of one yet – aka Cammo Scout Group
Plate Final Winners - Prospect Pirates
Most Recyclable Float - Polystyrene Pirates
Fanciest Float - Puffer Pirates
Daftest Raft - Horsing Around (open to debate)
